Follicular Unit Extraction removes individual follicular units from the donor area with a fine punch, leaving no linear scar. Sapphire FUE upgrades the most delicate stage of the operation: channel opening. Instead of steel slits, the surgeon creates the recipient sites with blades cut from single-crystal sapphire. Sapphire blades are exceptionally smooth and keep their sharpness throughout the session, so each V-shaped micro-channel is smaller, cleaner and matched precisely to the length and thickness of the graft.
